Terms of service
Last updated 11 August 2026. Please read these terms carefully — they apply every time you use hyrr.
1. About these terms
These terms form an agreement between you and hyrr Ltd ("hyrr", "we", "us"), operator of the hyrr marketplace. By creating an account or using hyrr you accept these terms.
hyrr is a marketplace. We connect people who rent out items, spaces and services ("providers") with people who book them ("renters"). We are not a party to the rental agreement between them.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts. You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping your login secure.
You may hold one account. We may suspend or ban accounts that breach these terms, harm other members or misuse the platform.
3. Listings
Providers are responsible for their listings being accurate, lawful, safe and available for the dates shown, including photos, condition, pricing and any certifications claimed.
Prohibited listings include weapons, illegal or stolen goods, counterfeit items, medicines, live animals, and anything you are not lawfully entitled to rent out.
4. Bookings
A booking is confirmed when the provider accepts the request. Both parties must follow the booking flow shown in the app, including hand-over, dispatch, return and sign-off steps.
Renters must use items with reasonable care, only for their intended purpose, and return them on time in the condition received.
5. Payments and fees
Payments are taken securely through our payment partner. hyrr charges a service fee, shown before you confirm any booking.
Provider payouts are released according to the payout schedule shown in your dashboard. You are responsible for any tax due on your earnings.
6. Cancellations and refunds
Each listing displays its cancellation policy. Cancellations made inside the policy window are refunded automatically; outside it, fees may apply.
If an item is not as described or is not made available, contact us within 24 hours of the start of the booking and we will review the case.
7. Damage, loss and disputes
Renters are liable for loss or damage beyond fair wear and tear. Providers should document condition with photos before and after each booking.
Raise disputes through hyrr support with evidence. We may mediate but our decision does not remove either party's legal rights.
8. Conduct and content
Keep communication and payment on hyrr. Do not harass other members, post misleading reviews, scrape the platform or attempt to circumvent fees.
You keep ownership of the content you upload and grant hyrr a licence to display it on the platform and in related marketing.
9. Liability
hyrr provides the platform "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, items or services of members, or for indirect losses.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes, termination and law
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
You may close your account at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
